A well-kept Anatolian Shepherd dog stands tall, its thick fur shimmering in the sunlight. This large, robust breed is known for its strength and agility. Displaying the characteristically deep-set, expressive eyes and the black, slightly curved nose of the breed, the dog exudes a serene confidence. They have slightly wavy fur with lengths varying from one inch on the short-haired variety to four inches on the rough-haired variety. Its coat is generally fawn or brindled, with a white 'star' on the forehead.
