German Wirehaired Pointer

Description:

A German Wirehaired Pointer dog. This breed of dog is characterized by its sturdy physique and weather-resistant, wire-like coat. Typically, it is medium to large in size with a well-muscled body. Its coat is typically liver and white in color, thick, and harsh; providing protection from the tough underbrush and harsh weather conditions it was bred to work in. Its head is moderately long, with medium size oval brown eyes full of intelligent expression. The German Wirehaired Pointer's ears are rounded, set high and lie flat against the head. The tail is typically docked to two-fifths of its original length.
