Ibizan Hound

Description:

An Ibizan Hound, an elegant and athletic breed of dog. It is characterized by its graceful build with long, slim legs, deep chest and oval shaped eyes of an amber color. The ears are large and pointed, held erect when the dog is alert. Its skin is tight over the entire body and its coat can be smooth or wire-haired, usually in a combination of white and reddish colors. The tail is traditionally long and thin, carried low when relaxed and sweeping upwards in a curve when excited. The Ibizan Hound carries itself with an elegant and proud bearing.
