Description:
A Japanese Terrier dog coat is primarily white with black or tan markings, and it has a square, compact body. The dog carries its tail high which is docked to medium length. Its body is lean and muscular, with long and slender legs. The dog has a prominent forehead, and its eyes are small and dark, radiating an intelligent expression. Its snout is long, leading up to a black nose. The dog's ears are set high, and they can stand erect when they are alert, otherwise, they fold forwards towards their cheeks.
