Yakutian Laika

Description:

A Yakutian Laika, a medium-sized spitz-type dog with a bushy tail that curls over its back. Its coat is dense and double-layered, protecting it from harsh weather conditions. The dog's color may vary widely, but most common are white with either black or gray patches. Its eyes are almond-shaped, and can be either dark brown or blue. It has erect ears and a strong, muscular body, well suited to its original roles in hunting and sledding in its native Siberia.
